Join our Pharmacy Team and provide expert support, ensure accuracy and make every patient interaction a positive experience.<br><br>Position Summary: <br>The Pharmacist is responsible for ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient dispensing of medications while delivering exceptional patient care in a retail pharmacy setting. This role is responsible for managing pharmacy staff; this role provides prescription verification, medication counseling, immunization services, and support for health and wellness initiatives. The Pharmacist works closely with pharmacy technicians, store leadership, and healthcare providers to maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, uphold company standards, and promote positive customer experience.<br><br>Key responsibilities include interpreting and verifying prescriptions, preventing drug interactions, overseeing pharmacy workflow, resolving insurance issues, and resolving customer and patient concerns. Ensuring all pharmacy associates provide best in class customer service and healthcare, managing controllables to improve P&L performance, inventory management, managing budgets, and maintaining accurate records. The Pharmacist also engages in patient education, medication therapy management, and supports and grows vaccination and clinical service programs both inside the store and out in the community.
